In Through My Eyes, Nina Pelton lays bare for us the peaks and valleys of her journey through love’s rocky terrain. With songs ranging from Aretha Franklin’s Dr Feelgood to Nina Simone’s version of Irving Berlin’s I Don’t Want Him, You Can Have Him, Pelton’s powerhouse soprano will draw you in close and then blow you away. Her singing is deeply emotional, personal and outrageously entertaining at the same time. Throughout life’s many troubles, Nina’s commitment to music as both a saving grace and as the world’s best medicine keeps her evolving, engaged and inspired. Nina Pelton is a New York-based cabaret artist and band singer of extraordinary power and stylistic range. Her emotionally nuanced vocals range from standards to R&B to funk and soul. In New York, Nina sings with several bands and has performed at Don’t Tell Mama, The Duplex, Pangea and the renowned Plaza Hotel Oak Bar. Nina has been a featured guest on Sirius XM Broadway program Seth Speaks, with Seth Rudetsky. Nina performs regularly in London at private parties and happening venues including multiple sold-out shows at London’s legendary Cabaret Crazy Coqs at the Brasserie Zedel. Then on came Nina Pelton to blow everyone’s socks off with her magnificent R&B powerhouse voice. This was a bravura performance.
